Peter Frey is the Lead Pastor of Eastpoint Church. He holds a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Master of Theology from the University of Edinburgh. He is passionate about relevant biblical preaching that connects the hope of the gospel with the realities of everyday life.
After several years of pastoral ministry in Boston, Peter and his wife Mary moved to Durham in 2019, where God began stirring a vision to plant a gospel-centered church in East Durham. Having walked through seasons of deep pain and suffering, Peter and Mary share a passion to help those disillusioned by suffering rediscover the hope of Jesus. They’re also passionate about foster care and adoption and are proud parents to their two boys, Elijah and Gabe.
